APR Corporation launched medicube in 2016 with a straightforward goal: make the treatments people get at dermatology clinics available at home. Not watered-down versions - the real thing, adapted for personal use.
The first products were dermocosmetics - the medicube collagen mask, Zero Pore Pads, and Red Line treatments that became bestsellers in Korean pharmacies and on Olive Young. But the team kept running into the same problem: even the best serums and creams can only penetrate so far into the skin.
That led to the AGE-R device line. The Booster Pro, launched in 2023, uses electroporation to open temporary micro-channels in skin, boosting serum absorption by up to 500%. It also packs RF firming, LED therapy, EMS, and massage into one device. The result: a 5-minute daily routine that replaces multiple standalone tools.
Today, medicube products are sold in over 30 countries. The brand has won Korea Brand Preference's No.1 Beauty Device award (2022), Korea YouTuber Awards (2023), and Glowpick's Top Rank in the massager category (2024).
